Welcome to Andy’s Wooden Wonders

Business Mission...

At Andy’s Wooden Wonders, our mission is simple:

To create beautiful, hand-crafted, custom-made home furnishings and gifts that are as unique as the people who commission them.

Our small family business takes a piece of timber and a creative idea to realise your perfect furniture!

At Andy’s Wooden Wonders®, my mission is to create beautiful, durable and genuinely bespoke wooden furniture that combines traditional craftsmanship with practical design.

Every commission starts with an idea.

There is no production line and no warehouse full of identical furniture. Each piece is individually made to order at my workshop in Titchfield, Hampshire, giving me the flexibility to alter dimensions, designs, materials, colours and other details to meet your requirements.

I work with a variety of carefully selected materials, including reclaimed and repurposed timber, premium joinery materials and hardwoods such as oak, walnut, ash and beech.

The material I recommend will depend upon the design, intended use and finish required.

Made to Measure – Because Every Home Is Different

One of the biggest advantages of commissioning bespoke furniture is that you're not restricted to standard shop-bought dimensions.

Many of my pieces can be created to your exact measurements and specifications, making them particularly suitable for awkward spaces, alcoves, corners and rooms where conventional furniture simply doesn't work.

I specialise in furniture including:

Bespoke Corner Monks Benches • Corner Seating with Hidden Storage • Booth Seating • High-Backed Monks Benches • Storage Benches • Dining Tables • Wooden Shelving • Custom Furniture

If you have something completely different in mind, I'm always happy to discuss whether I can turn your idea into reality.

Who am I...?

The Craftsman behind Andy’s Wooden Wonders®

I'm Andy Brown, founder and craftsman behind Andy’s Wooden Wonders®.

I established the business in 2017, following a 30-year career in the Royal Navy—and, strangely enough, none of this was originally planned.

It started with a wine rack.

I made one for a friend, they loved it, and before long somebody else asked me to make another. That second wine rack became my first sale.

A hobby had unexpectedly become the beginning of a business.

What started with smaller reclaimed timber projects gradually developed into increasingly ambitious commissions and, eventually, the bespoke furniture I create today.

Throughout that growth, one principle has remained unchanged:

I genuinely love what I do.

There is enormous satisfaction in starting with timber and an idea and finishing with a piece of furniture that has been created specifically for someone's home.

Expansion

Due to the continued success, I have now employed both Emily and Charley in the business, they bring their own skills, ideas and help to the company.

A Milestone I’m Immensely Proud Of

One of the milestones I'm most proud of came only three years after establishing Andy’s Wooden Wonders®, when I was accepted as a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen.

For me, this represented an important recognition of the standards, workmanship and customer service I had worked hard to establish.

Customer confidence matters enormously when commissioning bespoke furniture, which is why I'm particularly proud of the feedback and reviews Andy’s Wooden Wonders® has received over the years.

Where the Magic Happens

Every commission is created at my workshop in Titchfield, Hampshire.

Having my own dedicated workshop gives me the space and equipment required to undertake everything from smaller individual projects through to substantial made-to-measure corner seating, Monks Benches, dining furniture and larger bespoke commissions.

It's where an idea on paper gradually becomes something you can sit on, eat around, store things inside and enjoy for years.

Delivering Across the UK

Just days before the first lockdown, I upgraded to a larger van—perfect timing! It now allows me to personally deliver larger items to local customers.

For nationwide orders, I work with a trusted private courier who handles every delivery with care, professionalism, and reliability.

                  My Commitment to You:...

At the heart of all of this is simple:

                   "I love what I do"

I take pride in working closely with each customer, understanding exactly what you’re looking for, and transforming your ideas into beautiful, long-lasting pieces of craftsmanship. Your satisfaction—and the joy of seeing your vision come to life—is what drives me every day.

My Promise to You...

Premium woodwork – reliable and professional

With over 8 years of craftsmanship and carpentry experience, I understand that choosing the right maker matters. When you invest in a bespoke piece for your home, you want quality, care, and a service you can trust.
At
Andy’s Wooden Wonders®, that’s exactly what I promise to deliver.

Below are the core values that guide every project I undertake:

My Promise to You

Handmade • Bespoke • Professional

Commissioning bespoke furniture is very different from ordering something mass-produced online.

You're trusting somebody to take your measurements, requirements and ideas and turn them into something that will become part of your home.

That's a responsibility I take seriously.

1. Genuinely Bespoke Furniture

Every piece is individually made to order. Dimensions, configuration, design details and finish can be adapted according to the individual commission.

2. Carefully Selected Materials

From characterful reclaimed timber to solid oak and other premium hardwoods and quality joinery materials, materials are selected according to the demands of the project.

3. Personal Customer Service

You're dealing directly with the person actually making your furniture.

From your initial enquiry through to completion, I believe communication is an important part of commissioning something bespoke, and I provide updates throughout the build process.

4. Fair & Transparent Pricing

Every bespoke project is individually costed according to its dimensions, materials, design and delivery requirements.

My aim is to provide high-quality handmade furniture at competitive prices without compromising the craftsmanship involved.

5. Made to Your Requirements

Dimensions, colour, configuration and design details can all be discussed before your commission begins.

Rather than asking:

“Will this furniture fit my room?”

bespoke furniture allows us to ask:

“What furniture should we create to fit this room?”

6. Responsible Use of Timber

I use reclaimed and repurposed timber wherever appropriate and continually look for opportunities to reduce unnecessary material waste.

7. Craftsmanship You Can Trust

Andy’s Wooden Wonders® has grown through reputation, recommendations, returning customers and positive reviews.

Every commission carries my business name, which means I'm personally invested in the quality of the finished piece.
