Created using good-quality sheet timber and plywood, The Charlotte has a clean, crisp appearance with attractive framed detailing that gives the finished piece its distinctive character. Built around a strong and sturdy internal frame, it is designed to provide strength, stability and many years of use.

Whether positioned in a hallway, kitchen, dining area, porch or boot room, The Charlotte is made exclusively to your required measurements, specifications and colour choice, allowing it to fit naturally into your available space.

Practical Hidden Storage

The seat lifts to reveal generous concealed storage within, making The Charlotte ideal for storing shoes, bags, blankets, children's items, household essentials or anything else you would prefer to keep conveniently close to hand but neatly out of sight.

The lid is securely attached to the frame using a brass-coloured piano hinge, providing a strong, neat and practical hinged opening.

Every Charlotte is created individually rather than mass-produced, so dimensions can be altered to suit your particular requirements.

Your colour choice does not need to be finalised when initially ordering and can be confirmed nearer the time your Charlotte is being completed.

Private Courier Delivery

Delivery throughout the UK is available using a trusted private courier service.

Once your order has been collected from my workshop, the courier will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery date and provide you with the relevant delivery information.

Using a dedicated private courier helps ensure your bespoke furniture is handled carefully throughout its journey and arrives in the same condition in which it leaves my workshop.

Local collection from my Titchfield-based workshop is also available.

The Charlotte is created using good-quality plywood and sheet timber, which is carefully cut to size, prepared and sanded smooth before finishing.

As with any handcrafted piece, minor variations or imperfections may occasionally be visible within the material or finished surface. Every reasonable care and attention is taken during construction and preparation to minimise these while retaining the individual character of a handmade piece.
